POSITION: APPLICATION DEVELOPER AND IS PROJECT INTERN

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Good360, a national non-profit organization, is in the midst of creating an innovative online philanthropic platform that will assist charities to fulfill their mission, and connect corporate donors to their causes.  To reach this milestone, we are recruiting a technical individual to help evaluate, design, develop, and implement the project, application, software, and technology. The individual must be well versed in designing, creating, and developing applications in current software languages, such as PHP and HTML.  In addition, he or she will have to the opportunity to learn new platforms and take on managerial responsibilities.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, developing, organizing, coordinating, and managing information technology (IT) projects from initiation to deployment.
  • Managing application development activities through all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Acting as project manager of software development projects with responsibility for project planning and control.
  • Manage and communicate with external developers located world-wide during non-traditional business hours.
  • Train and communicate with staff on how to best utilize the software and application.
  • Support and maintain technical platforms.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science
  • Strong organization, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to establish goals, set clear expectations, prioritize activities and follow through to completion.
  • Full understanding of SDLC and RAD methodologies.
  • Creates and manages project schedules; monitors and reviews project progress; adjusts schedules and plans as necessary; identifies and resolves issues.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Experience with:
  • Programming in PHP, .NET, and HTML 
  • Major commercial e-commerce platforms, such as, Magento
Plus:
  • Experience using NetSuite ERP
  • Minimum 3 years of programming experience in PHP and .NET
  • Experience using Magento e-Commerce and Drupal

POSITION: INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Located in: Omaha, NE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: The Inventory Specialist will support all aspects of the daily warehouse and inventory operations from the point of product receipt through outbound order fulfillment including maintaining accurate inventory records, cycle counting, and coordination of physical inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day activities in both commercial and charity-based warehouses to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and product security.
  • Receive donation from all sources within specified guidelines. This includes non-solicited donations, managed programs, milk run inventories, and coordination of large scale receipts network-wide.
  • Assign product item numbers, receive quantities into inventory, and reconcile any noticeable discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of donated products.
  • Manage the outbound order fulfillment process to include daily pick pack generation and routing.
  • Monitoring warehouse activity to ensure orders are picked accurately and follow up on all order fulfillment issues reported by Customer Service.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts of on-hand inventory. Reconcile and report discrepancies and trends to supervisor.
  • Coordinate periodic ‘wall-to-wall’ physical verification counts of on-hand inventory as directed by Logistics Director. Maintain above industry average variances.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting including product age analysis and on-hand book count reconciliation.
  • Maintain inventory files for annual audit in accordance with file retention schedule. Purge per established guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Good360’s mission

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years work experience in inventory management
  • College degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Prior experience working in or managing warehouse operations preferred
  • Excellent work ethic that includes initiative, attention to detail, reliability and integrity
  • Ability to ‘think on your feet’ and find quick and creative solutions to problems
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze data to visualize trends and provide high-level summaries for management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and inventory management/ERP systems
