Jessica Kirkwood Vice President, Interactive Strategy Points of Light Institute
Jessica Kirkwood leads interactive strategy for @PointsofLight & @HandsOnNetwork. She focuses on increasing the organization’s online engagement and works to identify best practices for converting online activity into real world social action.
Prior to shifting her focus to interactive strategy, Jessica served as a senior advisor to the organization where she served as a project management officer during the Points of Light Foundation/HandsOn Network merger; developed business plans for new initiatives; crafted leadership transition plans; facilitated stakeholder dialogues, planning retreats; designed and organized special events and provided strategic direction and project management for a variety of projects.
Before joining HandsOn Network & Points of Light Institute, she worked as a nonprofit consultant providing leadership and direction to clients such as the UN Foundation, Atlanta Public Schools, Georgia Commission on Service & Volunteerism, Outward Bound and Georgia Center for Law in the Public Interest.
She began her nonprofit career with Hands On Atlanta where she led the volunteer program management, leadership development and communications teams.
