Good360 protects your good name

We’re proud to partner with thousands of nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives of people in need. We vet all our partners to make sure they’ve met qualification standards that enable us to ensure all donations are accepted and used according to the agreements we have with our corporate donors. All organizations accepted into the Good360 nonprofit network must provide the following:

  • Proof of their nonprofit status;
  • Financial documentation that is transparent and demonstrates how their programs are funded;
  • An overview of their mission and how they fulfill it;
  • Proof that they meet all anti-terrorism requirements outlined under the Patriot Act; and
  • A signed agreement that demonstrates they understand Good360's Product Use Guidelines and have agreed to them.
  • In some cases, non-501(c)(3) organizations, such as schools, are allowed to participate. They must adhere to all restrictions and agree to additional vetting.

Other information may be requested on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to, letters of reference from local community leaders, detailed programmatic information, and additional information about the staff.
For certain products, we request additional information from the nonprofit to ensure that they meet special restrictions requested by the donor.

Education. The Good360 staff conducts continuous member outreach about any changes we make to the guidelines through free monthly Webinars, mailings, emails, and trainings. This ensures that everyone involved with our product donations understands how the products can and cannot be used.

Additional Evaluations: Once a nonprofit organization is accepted into our network, it is required to submit additional information to us as needed. For example:

• At least once a year, Good360 checks to ensure that each partner's nonprofit status is intact and that all financial information required annually by the IRS has been submitted.

• If a nonprofit significantly increases the amount of product or store partnerships it is requesting, it may be required to submit additional reporting about how they use the products, and updated or additional financial information.

• Good360  reserves the right to perform unannounced spot checks or on-site visits with all participating nonprofit organizations.

• Organizations that register through a Community Redistribution Partner (CRP) may be subject to additional reporting requirements as outlined by the local CRP.

• Should there be any report of security violations related to one of Good360’s nonprofit partners, that organization will be blocked from participating until an investigation by Good360 staff has been completed.

• When appropriate, Good360 does engage local, state, and federal authorities in its investigations of security violations.
