Software Donations Help Nonprofits Build Capacity and Serve More

Donor News Archive

Technology is a vital need for every nonprofit organization. Thanks to some key corporate partners, Good360 has been able to provide a wide range of software programs for our nonprofit network.  The continued generosity of these partners has provided greater access to technology for resource-struggling schools and school systems, as well as the financially-strapped nonprofits and communities that assist them each day. These donations have been invaluable at a time when both public and private financial support is at an all time low. Below is a sampling of the generous corporate partners that make these donations possible:

Adobe

The Adobe Systems Inc.’s software donation programs and Good360 partnership has long supported students and school systems throughout the world. The North American program enables schools to inspire K-12 students to think creatively, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively by focusing on the use of digital technology to enhance visual literacy. In addition, the International program also supports organizations that provide direct services to students, teachers, schools, and students struggling unsuccessfully in traditional educational programs. This program also supports community-based environmental and cultural nonprofits and programs. “Adobe’s dedication to schools is important to our small schools, helping to keep our technology programs up to date. We are grateful for their donations and for Good360 for their administration of the program” said Louisa Metiver from the Leavenworth Regional Catholic School System, a recipient organization.

Autodesk

Through its software donation program, Autodesk— a world leader in 3D design software for manufacturing, building, construction, engineering, and entertainment
—assists, nonprofit organizations, correctional facilities and people with disabilities throughout the world with contributions of software that enhance communities and improve individual productivity. Autodesk donations always include the most updated versions available, providing recipients with the latest technology. “The AutoCad & AutoDesk 3D Max software we received helped Nature-Action Quebec to produce a landscaping plan to re-naturalize damaged sites and reduce the impact on the environment,” said Louis Brenn, Administrative Director of Nature-Action Quebec.

Citrix

A long time donor to Good360, the Citrix System’s software product donation program provides qualifying nonprofits license access to its GoToMyPC, GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar products. Citrix donations help nonprofit organizations already burdened with increased demand for services and limited sources of donations, to increase their productivity and reduce communications costs.

FileMaker

One of Good360’s oldest donation partners, and the developers of easy-to-use database software that helps users manage people, projects, assets and more. FileMaker, Inc®.,—donates FileMaker Pro and Bento™ (for Mac) licenses to qualified nonprofits. The software licenses are distributed to a broad network of nonprofits that perform vital functions, such as health promotion and education, hunger eradication, child development, and crime prevention.
