Becoming a Member
and Receiving Products
Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) Federal tax-exempt status (or
similar status for the country in which the charity is located),
Indian Reservations, and tax-exempt educational organizations
are eligible to become Gifts In Kind members.
There are many local Gifts In Kind programs around the country.
Check our directory
of local U.S. programs to see if there is one in your
area. If there is, contact your local program. If there is not
a program in your local area, your nonprofit can register directly
with Gifts In Kind International.
In addition, tax-exempt educational organizations without a 501(c)(3) certification
can obtain limited offerings from Gifts In Kind International. Click here to
register.
Nonprofits located outside of the United States:

affiliate programs to see if there is a program near you.

Receiving Products
Donated products are free. The only costs incurred by member charities are:
- Annual registration fee--because Gifts In Kind International is also a nonprofit, this fee covers our costs for processing your application and communicating with you. The annual registration fee varies according to the size of your nonprofit.
- Shipping and handling for donations--products are free, but it costs Gifts In Kind International to get the donations to you. To help absorb shipping and handling expenses, we charge a low administrative fee that your organization pays only when you request a donation.
