Gifts In Kind International Goes to the
Latin Grammy Awards!
We are proud to announce that we were chosen as the
"charity of choice" for Universal Music Latin Entertainment's (UMLE)
Awards Show After-Party, which immediately followed last week's Latin Grammy Awards.
Party guests, who included some of the biggest stars in Latin music such as Enrique Iglesias and Nelly Furtado, learned more about Gifts In Kind International, the work we do, and how to get more involved.
This partnership also included a donation from Sprint and UMLE of three Samsung Reclaim phones, the first full-featured eco-friendly
wireless phone available in the United States.
These phones, autographed by several Grammy-winning Latin artists, were donated exclusively to Gifts In Kind International. We are considering the best ways to put these phones to use, and will let you know of our plans soon!
It was an honor to get our message out in front of so many talented and unique people, and we hope that you recognize that the honor is shared with you, our members. Our mission is always to support your mission of helping people in need.

We
love being able to pass along great donations and useful information to our
nonprofit network, and this week is no different! Old Navy is donating FREE artificial Christmas trees, in various sizes, exclusively to
nonprofits!
Getting your FREE Christmas tree is as easy as 1-2-3:
1.) Contact the listed store in your area.
2.) Check to make sure a tree is still available, and confirm the size of tree. Larger stores may have multiple trees available.
3.) Make arrangements with the store to schedule the pick up. You are responsible for providing your own transportation and labor.
But it is first-come, first-served, so don't delay! Trees MUST be picked up by Sunday, 11/22.

How Our Retail Donation Partner Program Works
Participating
retail stores donate merchandise throughout the year, and make it available at
their retail location on a periodic basis.
Pay a flat annual fee per store, and cut out the shipping and handling
charges. You pick up donations from your
matched store on a mutually agreed-upon schedule, and agree to accept all of the
donated goods. If you already partner
with a store in your area, this is the perfect opportunity to pick up another
source of donations. View the latest list of partnering opportunities with more stores in other locations.
Partnering with The Home Depot, West Elm, Talbots, or Bed Bath & Beyond is a great way to obtain high-quality home and construction products. It is perfect for organizations serving families in need, housing shelters, or
community kitchens.
Stores are matched on a first-come,
first-served basis, so please respond immediately. You must be an active Gifts In Kind member to
qualify. If you are interested in a Home Depot store, please
complete the Home Depot Framing Hope application. If you are interested in a West Elm, Talbots, or Bed Bath & Beyond store, please complete the RDP form. Include your Gifts In Kind membership
number and payment information on each form, and fax it to 1-877-798-3192.
