Approximately 5 Million
People
are Now Homeless
With the support of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, Gifts in Kind International is coordinating the in-kind relief efforts for the United States. The support of corporations and individual donors is critical at this time.
Gifts In Kind worked with the Chinese Embassy and UPS to send the first relief flight to China in late May. The donation of 10,000 new tents will help those displaced by the quake. A second flight is being planned at this time.

Gifts In Kind International’s Donation Acceptance Policy
The purpose of Gifts In Kind International’s emergency relief donation management process is to provide victims with as much support as possible through efficient and effective channeling of product donations and services. Generally employee or community relief drives collecting previously used personal property such as clothing and household product, do not benefit the affected community and may make it more difficult for critically needed/requested items to reach those in need. Gifts In Kind International is not able to accept these types of donations of used products.
Additionally, Gifts In Kind International bases its acceptance of donations on the needs that have been identified to us by the NGOs and other relief organizations that are working on the ground. Logistics and transportation expenses must also be considered. Therefore, if your company has products to donate, please contact Gifts In Kind International first prior to sourcing or staging the donation, as we may not be able to accept your donation.
