The corporate environment and philanthropic
goals of our corporate partners vary a great deal from company to company.
Gifts In Kind
International has more than 20 years of experience working with
a wide range of companies, large and small, to make their philanthropic
and corporate responsibility goals a reality. During that time
we have learned that each partner has different needs and goals.
Therefore, we do not provide one-size-fits-all solutions. In fact,
our staff is trained to help each partner determine how the Gifts
In Kind® program can meet the special needs of each partner
to extend their brand, provide inventory solutions, highlight their
Corporate Social Responsibility platform, encourage their employees
to get involved in their communities, and so much more.
Gifts In Kind International's three distribution models are used
as a starting point to help each corporate partner set up a product
donation program. These models allow us to effectively and efficiently
move product donations quickly to the people who need them. They
include:
1. Warehouse Model: We have the know-how and resources to move
product donations, large or small, quickly to communities in need.
2. Managed Model: We manage the donor and employee-directed gift
match programs for a number of companies, including IBM, HP, GM,
Mattel, Men's Wearhouse, and many others.
3. Retail Distribution Partner Model: We match local retail stores
with nonprofits in their areas for regularly scheduled donations,
cutting out the shipping costs for those community groups that
often operate on a shoe-string budget and eliminating the reverse
logistics costs for the donors.
We have the flexibility to work with you and your team to set
up a program that provides the right solutions and benefits for
your company. For more information about making an initial donation
or setting up a program, contact Dan McCabe, Executive Vice President, Donor Relations,(703) 299-7521
or dmccabe@giftsinkind.org.
